bwg putih 1

Rebus semua bahan ni dgn asam keping, garam & sedikit gula (jgn rasa manis) sampai masak dan secukup rasa.
Kemudian masukkan ikan, kcg bende & terung. Sblm nak angkat masuk daun kesum.

Makaroni bakar aunty Lah & mama

Makaroni bakar:
500 grm makaroni
Tomatos saus
5 biji telor
1 tin susu
1 tin air
Daun sup.
250 gm daging
Bawang goring
2 labu bwg besar
Tmis daging dgn bwg besar masak dging masuk  3/4 cup tomato saus. Masak ketepikan.
Rebus makaroni, masak tos kering. Bancuh susu; telor dn air.
Gaul daging dgn makaroni, bawang goring; daun sup hiris, cili hiris. Nasuk dlm mangkuk pembakar dn tuan campuran susu tlor nair td. Bakar sampai masak.
Ktinggalan: masuk sedikit cili boh dlm dging

Apple Slice Cake

Apple Slice Cake

Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour, leveled & sieved (Nona)
3 apples - peeled & diced (south African/NZ huge green apples 2apples @ 3 normal granny smith apples)
1 cup sugar (just about, 1c is too sweet)
130 gm salted butter (SCS salted butter) - melted n cooled.
1 egg jumbo size - room temperature
1/4tsp of vanilla essence/extract

Method:

Mix well dry ingredients - apples, sugar & flour in a bowl.
Mix wet ingredients - melted butter, egg & vanilla essence, whisk lightly to combine in another bowl.
Combine and mix well the dry & wet ingredients.
Spoon into a greased & lined cake tin.
Baked at 180-200deg for 35-40mins or until top is golden brown & inserted skewer comes out clean.

Cake lasts for 3 days in fridge. Serve warm with icecream or eaten chilled.

Translation:

Bahan2:
2 c tepung self raising flour (Nona)
3 epal hijau granny smith - buang kulit & didadu kecil
1 c gula (1c manis sgt, nak kurangkan skit pun boleh tapi jgn kurang dari 3/4c - tak cukup manis)
130 gm butter (SCS salted butter - dicairkan)
1 telur gred A @ jumbo size - tidak sejuk - suhu bilik
1/4 st of vanilla esen/ekstrak

Cara2:
Satukan & gaul rata bahan2 kering - tepung, gula & epal dlm 1 mangkuk besar.
Satukan bahan2 basah - butter cair, telur & esen vanila dlm mangkuk lain. Kepuk skit nak sebatikan aje.
Kemudian satukan bahan kering & basah hingga sebati dan masukkan ke dlm bekas utk dibakar. Sapu butter & tepung dibahagian dlm bekas dahulu atau letak kertas minyak.

Panaskan oven 200C sekejap & bakar cake pd suhu 180C selama 35-40 min atau sehingga permukaan atas 'golden brown'. Cucuk batang satay @ pisau dibeberapa tempat utk pastikan cake masak.

Boleh makan dgn icecream. Bila sejuk boleh simpan dlm fridge. Tahan 3 hari. Makan sejuk pun sedap or panaskan dlm microwave.

Tuna melts Dietlicious

Tuna Melts Recipe
1/2 muffin 160++cal

-Wholemeal English Muffin  (frozen ada jual) cut to 2
-Ketchup(heinz) or pasta sauce sapu 1 layer kt atas roti
-Tuna in mineral water (drain)
- celery (chopped)
- parsley (chopped)
- cili flakes or.cili padi
- shallot (chopped)
- sour cream or greek yogurt
- salt
- honey or fructose (sikit je)
- b.pepper
- lime

Mix all ingredients and spread to each bread (1 1/2 tbps)
Topped with low fat mozarella
Cover with slice tomatoes
Sprinkle dry oregano and b.pepper
Baked for 15 minits or until chesse melted.

Sayur lemak

3-4 org makan
Kelapa parut 1/2 biji (besar) @ 1 biji (kecik)
Perah santan pekat 1cwn air. 2c air utk santan biasa. Kalau x cukup kuah - perah santan lagi or tambah air.
Mayam bwg merah 3-4 biji, garlic 1-2biji, cili merah 5-8 hiris
Pemanis - bilis or udang
Sayur choices:
Terung + kcg panjang
Sawi putih, hijau, carrot
Kcg saja

Masuk semua dlm periuk - masak sampai menggelegak. Once boiled, kecikkan api and masak sampai sayur masak. Regularly stir sb taknak santan separate dari air. Add salt to taste.

Rohani Jelani mac & cheese

Mac & Cheese with (smoked) sausage & broccoli

1tbsp oil
1spicy beef, smokey chicken or any sausages, sliced 1cm thick
1cup broccoli florets
160g macaroni or any short pasta
2L water
2tsp salt

Cheese sauce:
40gm butter
1/4c or 30gm plain flour
600ml milk
1/2 bay leaf
50ml whipping cream
1/2tsp salt
1/4tsp ground white pepper
120h grated cheese (80g cheddar, 40g mozarella) (optional: 1-2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan)

Method:
1. Heat oil in a small pan and fry the sliced sausages until lightly browned. Set aside.

2. Boil 2 litres of water with 2tsp salt. Blanch broccoli for 1min. Remove, run under cold water & strain. Set aside.

3. Add macaroni to the boiling water and cook for 10mins till just cooked but not overcooked. Aldente.

4. While macaroni cooking, preheat oven 200°c and essemble yr sauce.

5. Melt butter in a medium saucepan and stir in flour to the butter. Quickly mix well, pour in milk and bring to a boil - stir constantly to prevent lumps forming. Add bay leaf and simmer for another 2-3mins before adding cream, keep stirring. Aeason with salt & white pepper and take pan off heat. Discard bay leaf.

6. Quickly combine the cooked macaroni, broccoli, sausages, white sauce and 2/3 of the grated cheese mix. (If your sauce is in a big pan, combine in the same pan.)

7. Transfer into a heatproof dish, scatter remaining cheese and bake in preheated oven for 20-30mins until top is golden brown. Serve immediately.

Minced meat
3 minced - celery, carrot & big onion
Minced garlic
Pasta/bolognese sauce - Prego @ Kimball
Bolognese herbs
Shredded mozzarela cheese (into sauce & on top of sauce)
Oil for frying
Sugar & salt
Water 1/4cup
Veggies optional

- prepare pasta aldente
- heat oil & fry minced garlic, celery, carrot & big onion till fragrant
- add minced meat n water - cook till meat is well done and warer evaporated
- add pasta sauce & pasta herbs, add sugar & salt to taste & cook till sauce is done.
- add pasta - mix well, half way add shredded cheese (save some for topping)
- once all mixed well ...put into baking dish, sprinkle cheese & bake for awhile till cheese melts & crisps

Bwg merah n putih ditumbuk, digaramkan & digoreng.
- satukan kentang & bubu secukup rasa. Biasanya org buat bwg mentah - senang basi.

Daging kisar.
(Options - guna mentah or digoreng bersama bwg. Maybe kukus works?)

Daun sup n daun bwg cincang halus.

Gaul semua dgn rata. In Shaa Allah secukup rasa.

Dibulatkan & dicelup telur (w@wo salt) & digoreng.

Cheese popia/samosa

Kulit popia yg besar

Cream cheese 1 tub
Mozzarella cheese 1/2 diparut
Cheddar cheese 1/2 diparut
- semua cheese digaulrata

Tepung gandum + air skit = white glue

Assemble mcm popia & dab 'glue' at both ends of popia to avoid cheese breaking out.

Can be made ahead of time and frozen. Fried or airfried.

Kuzi ayam azura/mama

Kuzi ayam

1ayam - saffron skit (ditumbuk), 1/2 labu garlic, 1/2" halia, 1-2 dashes of white pepper andn salt skit perap 20mins - goreng

Minyak grg guna balik

Bwg 1/2kg digoreng
delmonte/Kimball 1/2 botol besar
2sb rempah kuzi roughly leveled
- mix all together with abit of water

1-1.5 small pack of raisins - digoreng
raw cashewnuts - grg dulu
Pedal ayam & hati lembu - perap mcm ayam & grg

1 big ladle of susu ideal (2ekor ayam 1/2 tin susu ideal)

Panaskan minyak Tumis rempah + air skit sampai garing.  Msk ayam. Msk susu. Msk yg lain2, gajus last. Adjust rasa.

Karipap intan

Inti sardin
------------
1 tin sardin yang besar (kalau boleh cap ayam)
2 sudu besar cili kering yang sudah diblend - kalau u nak pedas taruh lebih
1 bwg besar dipotong kiub halus
2 biji cili merak dihiris halus
5 butir bwg putih ditumbuk halus
8 butir bwg merah ditumbuk halus




untuk doh
------------
1 tin kecil planta
1 kg tepung gandum
garam secukup rasa
air secukupnys



cara buat inti
----------------
- panaskan minyak dlm kuali dan tumiskan bwg putih dan bwg merah
- selepas kekuningan, masukkan cili boh
- apabila cili sudah agak masak, masukkan bwg besar dan cili merah yang telah dihiris
- masak lagi sehingga agak layu
- perisakan dengan garam secukupnya dan sprinkle kan dengan lada putih
- masukkan sardin beserta dengan the sauce jugak
- hancur2kan with the sudip dan biarkan masak hingga agak garing
- lepas itu angkat and sejukkan ke tepi



Cara buat kulit
-----------------
- ambik tepung and then masukkan planta
- gaulkan planta and tepung 
- masukkan air perlahan perlahan until tepung menjadi doh yang sempurna
- uli lebih kurang 15 - 30 minit untuk pastikan it is soft and fluffy enough
- pas tu make as many medium sized balls daripada doh tu
- biarkan seketika maybe tutup ngan kain muslin wud be good about 1 - 2 hours
- lepas tu, canaikan bebola doh tu tapi jgn sampai terlalu nipis takut koyak bila 
taruh inti nanti
- terapkan into round shapes ikut size apa yg u suka
- bubuh inti kat dalam
- kelim kan ia sampai rapi

Baked pasta aunty Lah

Into the hot pan in this order:

350-500gm pasta cooked aldente

3 minced garlic
1tbsp or more ciliboh
1 big/2med big yellow onions - finely diced/chopped - softened
300gm minced beef
1/2c tomato sauce
1/2c bwg goreng
Some green onions
Salt to season

Add cooked pasta n mix well.

Custard:
4 eggs
1 tin evaporated milk + 1tin of water
Salt & pepper

Baked at 180degree or until done.

3/4 Masa masak, tabur cheese.

Ketupat sotong

Sotong medium size - cuci & buang kulit & gigi sotong.

Pulut direndam air dulu 2-3 jam. Toskan. Campurkan dgn skit santan pekat & garam skit - gaul rata.

Masukkan ke dalam sotong - halfway aje. Masukkan balik kepala sotong & cucuk dgn toothpick.

Masakkan dgn santan pekat hingga sotong gelembung terik. InsyaAllah pulut masak.

Check rasa dulu sb adakala kuah dah masin dari air laut pd sotong. Kalau kurang masin, tambah garam skit, gula putih skit & gula merah secukup rasa. Angkat & hidang.

Brownie Tati

100gm milk choc + 200gm dark choc or any choc 300gm (I used 150gm each but for a bit bitter choc taste, use more of dark choc)

250gm salted butter

300gm soft Brown sugar (I used 270gm - still abit too sweet for me. Maybe try 250gm)

- all three melted together in a pan or ban marie

Once melted, remove from heat & add 4 eggs one at a time (whisk lightly each egg)

Then add (abit at a time) 140gm flour, 40gm unsweetened cocoa powder + 1 tsp baking powder - sieve together.

Bake in a 10x10" tray for 30-35 mins till done with skewer test. Should be soft in the middle for a gooey brownie.

Before baking - can add raspberries, Oreos or walnuts & almonds or choc chips.

Roti Jala Betty Yew

320ml Santan cair
1/4 st garam
1 biji telur
250gm tepung gandum

Ayak sekali tepung & garam.
Kepuk skit telur & tambah kpd santan.
Campurkan semuanya hingga sebati & tapis sebelum dikirai sbg roti jala.

Banana cake from the net

Original recipe:

60gm margerine

60gm whole meal flour

60gm Brown sugar

1 egg

1 banana

1tsp bicarbonate soda

1 small loaf tin lined with paper or dusted with butter & flour


Adjust the recipe:

White self raising flour - no need for bicarbonate soda
OR
Whole meal flour with bicarbonate soda

Brown sugar 40gm + 2 bananas

a carrot can be used instead of banana.

can use white sugar too but lesser amount.

Recipe uses margerine but I use butter.

60gm salted butter makes the cake taste salty ... Try 2 bananas with 50gm salted butter to compare taste with original recipe.

Sprinkle chopped almonds on top.

Rebus semua. Tos & blend. Goreng hingga pecah minyak. Garam & gula.

Gulai daging tumis kicap


Daging pejal/rump/bola - hiris tebal skit
Kayu manis
bunga lawang
Bawang merah 15-20 bwg merah
Bwg putih 1biji
Halia 1/2 inci
Sebuk jintan manis 3/4st
Serbuk jintan putih 3/4st
serbuk lada hitam skit
Chili boh 1sb @ more
bwg besar potong jurai
kentang direbus

Tumis sampai pecah minyak - bwg kisar, ciliboh, lada hitam, jintan manis & putih. 
Masuk kicap & daging biar sampai kering air daging/pecah minyak. Masuk air secukupnya, tambah kicap & sedikit tomato sos. Rebus sampai empuk. 
Masukkan garam secukup rasa, bwg besar & kentang.
